Nikon FA 35mm Film SLR Camera

Take a Nikon FE2 and a Nikon F3… throw them together and boom, you’ve got a Nikon FA.
For reasons unbeknownst to me, the Nikon FA has yet to soar in popularity like its siblings. I blame the
internet popularity contest machine for passing over the completely underrated Nikon FA. This was
Nikons first camera to introduce a highly precise matrix metering system that was miles ahead of the
competition during its introduction period. Not only did the FA have a highly advanced, accurate
metering system, but it also incorporated Program, shutter priority, and aperture priority modes along
with full manual and a 1/4000 of a second shutter speed. At the time, no other camera offered all these
options in a single well-constructed, uber reliable bundle like the Nikon FA.
