Every single item in our store has a story to tell, and while we take every step to ensure everything we sell is in great working condition, they are still products of their time. Whether sold or traded, each piece of gear is carefully inspected. A lot of the time cleaning up corrosion from the battery compartment, or replacing the light seals is all a camera needs before being put out on the sales floor. However if the issues can’t be solved with a bit of tlc (or CLA- Clean, lubricate and adjust), those items take a different path before hitting our shelves.

Our Refurbishing Process

checking functionality, repairing or replacing parts as needed, cleaning optics elements, replacing light seals when necessary, and cleaning and polishing exterior surfaces.

That said, many times we are dealing with technology that is decades-old. Some vintage items may carry small signs of age or develop quirks over time. We stand by the work we put into every camera and are always here to help if you have any questions.

Bring your gear in! Whether we purchase it or not depends a lot on the item, our current inventory and the store’s budget. Depending on how busy the store is, we can usually test and appraise your items right away, however in some circumstances, we need a little longer! In those cases, we take around 5-7 business days to appraise your gear. Don’t want to wait as long for the payout? Consider trading your items!

We reserve the right to not purchase gear/reject at any point of the appraisal process. 

You can always text us about the gear you’re looking to sell/trade. Text a couple of detailed pictures of the items you’re looking to get rid of to our number (385)229-4077 you can also email them to us as [email protected].

We’re happy to offer a fair and transparent process when purchasing used cameras, lenses, and other photography equipment. However, please keep the following in mind:

  • Evaluation Process: All gear is inspected for condition, functionality, and market value. Our offers are based on current demand, resale potential, and required refurbishing costs.
  • Final Offers: Quotes are subject to change upon in-person inspection. Online or preliminary estimates are not guaranteed until we physically assess the item.
  • Condition Matters: Gear with significant damage, missing components, or non-functioning parts may receive a lower offer or be declined.
  • Payments: Payouts are processed via cash/store credit/venmo/paypal, after the final assessment. Some transactions may require additional processing time.
  • No Returns: Once a sale is finalized, all transactions are final. We cannot return or resell your item back to you.
